I am a mother, a wife, a leader, an educator and a motivator with a GREAT passion for life. I was born in Romania and lived in Montreal, QC for some of my childhood years. I have spent the majority of my life in Windsor- a community that is diverse and has so much to offer. I graduated from the University of Windsor in Psychology with a minor in French.
I started at BANA over 21 years ago as the Health Promotion Manager (prevention), which is an area that I am extremely passionate about. In 2012, I was appointed as the Executive Director at BANA. It is a privilege to be in this position and to work with the amazing board, staff, funders and community partners who are all so dedicated to this important work. I sit on a number of committees, which allows me to engage and learn more about our community.
I am married to Tony and have 2 children Gabriela and Antonio who are my world. I love to travel and see the world from my own lens. I enjoy going for walks and spending time with family and friends. I value the community I live in and try to make a difference whenever and whenever I can.

A warm hello to everyone reading this! It is my great pleasure to introduce myself to you. I am a Registered Social Worker, and I can say that it has been an honour to be a part of this amazing organization for over 20 years. For 18 years I have had the privilege of working directly with clients in group and individual therapy. I have gained a great deal of experience and participated in many training opportunities for Cognitive Behavior Therapy Enhanced for Eating Disorders (CBT-E), Cognitive Behavior Therapy – Ten (CBT-T), Motivational Interviewing, brief narrative therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). In 2023, I was given the opportunity to take on the role of Manager of Clinical Services and to work with both our outpatient team and our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) team. This has been an incredibly rewarding experience and has allowed me to stretch and grow my leadership skills.
When I’m not at work, I love to spend time with my 3 children. When the weather is nice, I love to be outside walking, bike riding, kayaking and gardening. I also love reading and participate in a monthly book club with friends. Creativity has always been an important part of my life, and I enjoy painting and crafting with my kids, quilting, and crocheting. Lastly, I am an avid animal lover and have been known to adopt strays.

This knowledge has fueled my passion for supporting individuals on their path to find true peace in their lives and minds. I strive to create a space where individuals feel seen, heard, and empowered to navigate to a successful way to get there.
Additionally, I bring a wealth of experience from diverse and fascinating fields, including palliative care and criminal justice Outside the office, I’m a fierce advocate for the power of rest — naps truly help me maintain balance.

Originally from Mississauga, I have called Windsor home since 2015. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts honors degree in Psychology from the University of Guelph in, followed by a Master of Social Work at the University of Toronto. It was this that drew me to my current role in eating disorder prevention. I am excited to now be part of a province wide initiative to support communities in their efforts to prevent disordered eating and eating disorders before they start.
An avid traveler earlier in my life, I am now happiest at home with my family and dog where we love to bake, read, play, and explore. When time allows, I enjoy embroidery, crochet, and a good TV show
