Skills Training
In order to better prepare you for the content and tasks associated with individual therapy, BANA has developed a series of Skills Training sessions for you to complete.
These sessions are restricted to BANA clients who have received an eating disorder diagnosis and have been instructed to attend the skills trainings by their BANA therapist (you will be provided with passwords).
In order to participate in individual therapy, you will first be required to complete a minimum of 4 of these trainings. Three of the topics are mandatory and the forth one (or more) may be selected from our electives. Each Skills Training varies from 1-3 sessions, with all sessions running 1 1/2 hours.
In partnership with Windsor Essex Community Health Centre – Teen Health, BANA provides centralized intake for new client inquiries for residents of Windsor and Essex County.
Intake services are provided to all ages, free of charge and will streamline your access to treatment and provide a continuum of care while answering your questions and requests for assistance.
